Donations by Credit Card are here to stay. More and more Donors prefer the convenience and consistency of making their donations using their Credit Card. Also, more and more donors are becoming comfortable with using their Credit Card on the web.

Credit Card donations can improve your fundraising bottom line. Gifts are more consistent when you don't have to rely on donors to remember to send in their check. Denari makes the process of accepting, scheduling, and processing Credit Card donations easy and efficient. Donations can be made as one-time gifts over the web using OnLine Giving or one-time by phone. Or, they can be set up as reoccuring donations that will run automatically on an assigned date.

Set Up is Easy

Setting up reoccuring donations can be done by simply setting up each Credit Card donation as a Pledge. Fill in Start Date, Stop Date, Payment Frequency, and Payment Amount. Indicate the Day of the Month that the Transaction will take place.

Enter the Donor's Credit Card Information

Fill in the Credit Card Information provided by your donor and you are finished. On the day of the month that the Credit Card is scheduled to be processed, Denari will automatically send the information to the Credit Card processing company and enter the gifts in Denari. You have no data entry to perform. Denari will notify you if a Credit Card fails to process successfully. The Credit Card company will then deposit the funds into your bank account send you a report showing your transactions. You then compare that report with your Denari gift entries. Once you are satisfied that it is accurate, you can simply print and send out receipts to your donors. Denari resets itself to run the Credit Card again on the next scheduled payment date. Funds donated by Credit Card flow into your account each month with very little input from you.

A Variety of Reports are Available

Denari provides a wide range of reports to track Credit Card/Pledge activity. Reports for your accountant show donations on a day-to-day basis. Pledge Statements can be used to keep your donors up to date on their progress. And, managament reports, available in PDF or Excel, keep you informed about fulfillment rates and fundraising success.
