Denari 2000 version 8.0

Denari 2000 v. 8.0 is ready to ship and we are excited. Some of our customers have already seen it and have reported that they are very pleased. A number of changes have been made that are both additions and improvements to version 7.X as well as a number of bug repairs. We will publish a list of the changes at some point in the future and post them on our website (www.denarisoft.com) The early release version is currently in the hands of a few of our customers. We will make any final changes based on their feedback and ship verion 8.0 out to you as soon as it is available.

Spring Training Schedule

We believe so strongly in the value of training for Denari that we have decided to offer a springtime regional training schedule to make it easier for our customers to get proper training. We have found over and over that the people who are the happiest with Denari are those who have received training. The opposite is also true. Denari is a sophisticated program. It offers a lot of sophisticated features that you will not find in your other programs. For that reason, using Denari is not always intuitive. There is a learning curve and basic training is the best way to soften that curve. Even if you have been using the program for a while, you will probably find that you will learn about features you didn't know existed at a basic training class. Fundraising software is a semi-customized software. It is designed specifically for an industry that has a finite number of customers. It is not like Microsoft products that can be sold to millions. For that reason, no one is writing a book called "Denari for Dummies". Training classes are the only place you are going to get the information you need to be successful. Training is an investment in your success with the program which in turn, is an investment in your organization. The spring training schedule is listed below. The additional costs for a regional schedule make it unlikely that we will be doing them again in your area any time soon. So this is your chance to take advantage of them. Mailer's +4 Price Change

Mailer's + 4 is a third party software that Synergy has integrated for use with Denari as an added option. When used with Denari, Mailer's will automatically standardize your mailing address and add the zip + 4 codes to your zip codes. Mailer's has a number of stand-alone features as well. With Mailer's you can:

• Reduce returned mail.
• Increase response opportunities.
• Save money on postage and printing.
• Identify address changes before you mail.
• Add demographic and marketing data.
• Update phone numbers and area codes.

Mailer's is a third party software that is supported by them but can be purchased through Synergy. The cost for Mailer's has increased for this year. The initial cost is $695 per year and can be renewed after the first year for $595 per year. You will get an address update disk each quarter with the latest changes.
